East Bay Therapist Community (EBTC): Fostering Connection and Support for Therapists

Therapists often navigate their professional journeys in solitude, engaging deeply with clients' intimate experiences behind closed doors. While we share in the joys and sorrows of our clients, the confidential nature of our work can limit our ability to openly discuss these moments with loved ones.

The East Bay Therapist Community (EBTC), founded by Nes Pinar, aims to bridge this gap by providing a supportive network where therapists can connect, share, and grow together. Nes’s vision of creating a meaningful and united community of therapists has materialized into EBTC, offering a space to share collective wisdom and support one another through the highs and lows of our profession.

Joining EBTC is simple and offers numerous ways to engage. Members can stay informed about events and opportunities through the email listserv and bi-monthly newsletter, contribute their expertise by volunteering for presentations or Q&A sessions, and utilize group spaces for sessions or meetings.

Additionally, members are encouraged to propose and host social events, contribute to the blog, and share valuable resources with the community. EBTC provides a platform for therapists to connect deeply with their peers, fostering a vibrant and supportive professional community.
